50th Anniversary

The Chicago School of Violin Making turns 50 in 2025. Please join us in celebrating this milestone anniversary at the beautiful Women's Club of Evanston on November 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Women's Club of Evanston is located at 1702 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois.  There is a large parking garage directly across Chicago Avenue from the venue.  Street parking is also available.  Downtown Evanston is easily accessible by either the CTA or Metra.

Cocktails will start at 5 pm, and dinner starts at 7 pm.   

There will be a short program following dinner.

Cocktail attire is suggested.   

The School does not have a block of rooms reserved at any of the hotels in Evanston.  The Hilton Orrington is a short walk to the venue.  There are several other hotels in the downtown Evanston area.  

Open House Information

There will be an open house at the School on Saturday, November 8th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Please stop by to see the renovations to the School, look at current student work, and purchase limited CSVM swag!  Light refreshments will be available.
